“Great opportunities to help others seldom come, but small ones surround us every day.”

- Sally Koch

Strong Like Me is a non-profit organization founded by Jennifer Parrott, the CEO of Locks and Mane, a prominent luxury hair extension company in North America. In May 2017, Jennifer's journey began when her son was diagnosed with leukemia at just 3½ years old. Over the following three years, her family worked closely with the dedicated team at SickKids Hospital in Toronto, witnessing firsthand the profound impact of treatment on young patients.

Drawing on her extensive business network, Jennifer identified an opportunity to make a difference by supporting individuals during one of life's most challenging experiences. Through Strong Like Me, Jennifer has collaborated with SickKids to fulfill her mission of providing personalized, high-quality human hair wigs to teenage cancer patients. This initiative not only aims to enhance their physical appearance but also to foster a supportive community around them.

The goal of Strong Like Me is clear: to assist as many cancer patients as possible in navigating their chemotherapy journey with dignity and confidence. By offering these wigs, Jennifer hopes to empower patients to feel strong and resilient in every aspect of their lives—physically, mentally, and emotionally.
